Official: Antitrust can meet with Schlumberger after May 19

MOSCOW, May 11 (PRIME) -- Russia’s Federal Antimonopoly Service plans to meet with the executives of U.S. Schlumberger after the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF), or after May 19, Director of the service Igor Artemyev told reporters on Friday.

“We have decided: we plan a meeting straight after the legal forum. We will send a corresponding message with an invitation to Schlumberger to meet with us, we have not sent it yet, we will send it today or tomorrow,” Artemyev said.

In April, the government commission for foreign investment control preliminarily allowed Schlumberger to acquire between 25% plus one share and 49% in EDC.
